I'm still a tad under the weather, but I'm getting back into the swing of things. I really want to work on being able to putting energy into all aspects of my life from relationships with God, myself, my family, friends, business associates, and maybe getting into a romantic relationship that seems to be continually be all the rage.
But the saying is without your health you don't have anything has a lot of Truth. And frankly, my health (even this cold) and the numbness in my leg and back pain is not at a place where I'm on auto pilot. So I've enjoyed my break and am making a point to blog here more regularly as a reminder to me to keep my thoughts and by natural extension my actions on my health.
My diet coke consumption is up considerably as is my coffee, and my water intake has dropped an amazing amount. Meditation is non-existent as of late and I could do better on my fruits and vegetables. AND my back exercise regiment has much room for improvement, too.
I'm still very happy and very grateful to be able to drive and walk, and have even been able to help my sister do some serious cleaning of her place while I've been here. It's a real joy to be able to stand at the sink and do some dishes. If there's a lot of them, I do have to sit down and take a little break, but I just watch tv and then hit the pause (MAN is that cool that cable tv thing that you can pause) and then go back and finish. Edie's really busy with her full time job and being a professional musician in three bands on top of that. She said she really missed me and says she enjoys the company, and even told me that I've been really helping her out. Here I am living RENT FREE at her place and she's thanking me. (Aren't big sisters the best?) I thanked her, too, off course.
It's nice to be able to help out around the house. I never thought I would be so grateful to stand at the sink and do dishes--even happy!
